Arietta gives him an unhappy look, "Alright, but we really need to talk, Colt." She stands and stretches, Theo bouncing at her feet- happy to get out of this nasty smelling building, "But lets do that after we get some lunch or something." She begins to walk out of the room, "Also, be on the lookout for a small girl with a shroomish, she said she'd meet me here in town after I found you." She pauses, "And a woman with an Arcanine." Arietta shivers at the memory of the black flames, and wishes she knew more about the woman who burned the bridge and forest, so she knew who to look out for.

Colts eyes widened slightly, but only for a moment. He suddenly remembered the report Arietta had told him about before. He had met a woman with an Arcanine in the forest. Unbeknownst to him, he had let the culprit of cycling road and the forest go. 'Better not bring this up right now.' Colt thought. 'I'll wait for the right moment while we eat.' "I know of a good cafe in town." Colt says, pulling out a pamphlet with a map from his jacket. He had brought pamphlets for many of Hoenns main towns to help him navigate. "Follow me." Colt exited the hospital with Lucifer, heading towards the cafe.

Arietta follows Colt, oddly silent. She was thinking through everything, and those black flames haunted her. She wasn't sure why, but they really disturbed her. They smelled different, and were hotter then normal flames; and, from the looks of it, harder to put out. Arietta leaned down and scooped up Theo and hugged him close as they walked, smiling when, despite the pokemon's obvious discomfort with being held, it licked her in a attempt to comfort her. They arrived at the restaurant, and were shown to their seats. She looks up at Colt, waiting for him to say something.

Colt sat down where instructed, Lucifer lying down beside the table. He waited for Arietta to say something. She did say she wanted to talk. He looked at her to see her looking at him expectantly. What should he start with saying? Should he start with small talk, asking how she was, or jump right into it? After a long period of silence, Colt spoke up. "Sooooooooo, Are you okay? did you get burned or anything?" Colt started with simple talk. He hoped to calm her a bit, hoping she wasn't too angry.

Arietta sighed, "Yes, I am fine, thanks to you. Thank you for protecting me." She says with pure honesty, but her eyebrows were still furrowed. She remembered that Colt wasn't really a social person, and let out another, smaller sigh. Theo looked at Colt with a look that said 'you're in troublleeeee.' "Colt, why did you run off like that? It was a fire!" She starts, the worry and anger she bottled up coming out in a gush, "You could have ended up like that corpse I saw, Colt, burned to a featureless corpse by black flames! Not even water would have been able to put you out!" She said, a harsh edge to her voice, but she wasn't loud. In fact, she looked like she was about to cry, "And if you got too hurt I couldn't even help you! I'd have to let you die, because I can't partake in the extension of your life, Colt! Do you know how much I panicked when that tree fell? I was terrified that I'd have to leave you behind!" She put her head down, taking deep breaths, "And at the moment, you're the first human friend I've had in a long time, I don't want to lose anyone." Arietta looks back up, "You put you and your pokemon at risk."

Colt recoiled a bit at the sudden release of emotion from Arietta. She looked like she was on the brink of tears. He hadn't realized that he had worried her as much as he did. "I'm sorry I worried you," Colt said in a firm voice. "but I had to do it! People could have been in danger, and I had the chance to make a difference!" Colts voice was much louder than it was previously, but it wasn't yelling. He often lost himself when he got passionate on a subject. "Sometimes you need to take a risk if you have the means! If I end up getting hurt, so be it! I can deal with it! And besides," Colt took a deep breath for continuing. "I trust you enough that you won't just leave me behind, even if it means betraying your god. plus, I promised I would train you, right? I'm not about to break the promise of a friend."

Arietta pursed her lips, "I.. I know you wouldn't break a promise with me." Arietta rests her arms on the table. She stays quiet for a moment, and the waitress comes and gives them water and a menu. When she leaves Arietta looks back at Colt, "Why did you hide the fact that you're a disciple from me? It's not like I could use it, really." She felt a but stung by it, but not as much as him running off, "You're paying for this one." She mumbles and sips on her drink, petting Theo.

Colt let out a small chuckle. "Don't worry, I've got this." He pulled out his wallet and held it above the table for a few seconds, just to emphasize he was going to pay. " I hid the fact I was a disciple because it was an advantage I had. There are disciples out there that have the mindset of removing any disciple from existence." Colt took a sip of his drink. He hadn't actually met other disciples with that mindset, but he had that mindset at a point, so there had to be others. "I wasn't sure if you were one of them. Plus, I needed a contingency in case..." Colt paused for a brief second. "In case you lost control. That way, if you went on a rampage with your powers, you wouldn't expect me to be able to stop you." Colt looked down at the menu, avoiding eye contact. He wasn't happy he was thinking that way; ruthless, emotionless. It was just the way he was, and he couldn't help it.

Arietta put her drink down slowly, blinking at that. No one had ever confessed that if they had to they'd kill her before. In fact, she'd never had anyone talk about killing her before. She wasn't mad, just shocked- in fact, if she went on a rampage, she'd want some one to stop her. When Arietta looked at him, she was surprised to see him looking ashamed of himself. "Oh." She states simply, "Why would people want to do that? The 'remove' any disciple from existence part." That was the part that confused her the most, really.

"Because of power of course." I said walking in the cafe, casting an illusion over the waitress trying to stop me from entering, "Other disciples don't take kindly to other disciples possibly getting stronger." I said as I approached their table, I had left my shroud else where upon arrival and when I stood only five feet in front of their table I stopped. My pokemon within their pokeballs to show I was not planning to hut them for the time being, but that didn't mean I was defenseless. I didn't bother keeping my voice down, the hallucinations the others within were having made me invisible, making this conversation basically no existent to them.

Colt looked at Silas as he entered the cafe. He was dangerous, that's for sure, but Colt couldn't exactly do much at the moment, what with his burns and all, so he decided to just let things play along. Plus, it didn't look like he had the intentions to fight. "So, decided to make another visit?" Colt said to Silas. "Yes, that is one reason, but not mine." He clenched his fists and turned towards Arietta. He wasn't going to keep anymore secrets from her. "People shouldn't have that much power, it's unnatural. Even the purest soul can be corrupted if given too much control. The only reason I took these powers was to defend myself."

Arietta blinked up at Silas, and her eyes narrowed. She quietly put Theo back into his pokeball, not wanting him to be hurt. She looked at Colt, a bit surprised, but she never thought about that. He was right on some level, no one should have this much power- she could kill someone in the bat of an eye! Colt evaporated a tree from existence! But outright killing them? That's just.. bad. The Gods had to have selected them for some reason. Arietta just turns to Silas, her eyes flashing blue, "What are you doing here, Silas?" She was prepared to attack if he did.

I had taken a docile appearance upon my face, looking around the room at the customers and wait staff who knew nothing of my existence, how nice it must be being completely oblivious to the true darkness that rested in the world. When the girl called to me I returned my attention to them almost like I was being called on in school after day dreaming, "I came to make a...formal greeting. I am nothing if not honorable, and I would hate for our only memory together be me trapping you both in a nightmare realm." I said placing my left hand over my chest and bowing slightly, "My name is Silas Grey, Disciple of Darkrai. Grand trainer, Zoroark as my partner." I said straightening up and looking at them with a bit softer expression, I ran a hand through my hair to move it out of my face and rid myself of my grimmer appearance. I grabbed a chair and sat it before me, but not at their table, I sat with one leg crossed over the other and my arms crossed over my chest, still holding my guard as I was still well equipped for the situation.

Colt relaxed a bit, seeing how Silas was willing to talk. "So, what is it you wanted to talk about? You obviously didn't come here just to introduce yourself, seeing as how you are sitting down." Colt leaned back in his chair slightly so only the chairs back legs were on the ground. "Maybe more about you're 'big plan'? Obviously, you find one of us intriguing enough to talk to again." Colt gestured towards Arietta. "It was her, right?" Colt vaguely remembered Arietta telling him that Silas wanted her as an ally.

I smirked for a moment, but if faded as I looked at Arietta, "Well you would be right if your weren't so wrong." I said, shaking my head, I wasn't going to actually come right out and tell them anything I hadn't already planned to tell them. I knew what I wanted form this exchange and they were going to give it to me one way or another, "Well I guess a casual conversation is out of the question. Oh alright, lets get down to business, the girl with the Arcanine, where did she go?" I asked leaning forward and resting my arms on my legs, my head perching my my bawled hands.

Arietta straightens at that, looking at Colt. Did he see her? She pondered that, then frowned. He would've said something, unless he forgot her description or something- which would be likely. "I don't know, I never saw her. But maybe Colt did." Arietta says to Silas, just wanting him to get out of here. Being around the boy set her on edge.

Seamus Walker
Towards the back of the café sat a certain man, simply enjoying a cup of coffee, tucked into a corner that would not be easy to see from where the three Disciples talked. He sipped from his small cup. To be honest, he didn't care for coffee, not at the moment at least. He had decided to be a little different lately and as such had developed quite the taste for sweets. He nibbled at the fruit pastry, quite happy with the apple flavor, a few crumbs falling down onto his smart, grey business suit. He picked at the crumbs lazily, making sure he was clean, but was in no rush to do so.
He glanced in the direction of the three disciples, thinking this was an interesting conversation. So many Disciples running around in one place... always a sign that something big was going to happen... Interesting. Still, he left them to it. He would make a move later, if he felt like it. For now, just listening to the three was more than enough, or so the man called Seamus felt. He could wait, find out if any of these three, or the other disciples he had heard rumors of could be of use. All he had to do was wait and find out.
Waiting was something of a specialty of his, after all.
(Out of Character: Seamus is just listening for now. I just felt he should begin learning about what's going on in the world, and this is as good of a way to do that as any. He won't be getting involved in this situation for the moment, I just wanted to introduce him here.)

Colt places his chairs front legs back on the ground, wincing in frustration without showing it. 'Why'd you have to mention me?' Colt thought. 'He may have not known we were separate.' Colt sighs, then looks at Silas. " I don't know. last time I saw her she was heading in the direction of Slateport from the forest." Colt smirked. "But, even if she did come through here, she would likely be gone. So, you should get going, whether back to Slateport or ahead to the next town."

I sat my feet flat on the floor at their responses and the aura they were letting off, I was putting them on edge, I was getting exactly what I needed. I nodded then closed my eyes taking in things as if I was deep in thought, I already knew what they knew, how? That's simple and I was about to show them, "Well I think I've got what I need from both of you." I said snapping my fingers and a chatot's head poked out of Colt's jacket pocket, another from Arietta's pocket, they hopped out of their hiding spots and flew to me and landed on my shoulders. I opened my eyes again reveal their teal color to demonstrate my likeness to my God, "May our paths cross again, maybe you and I can have a match." I said to Colt and Arietta, the end of my sentence mostly for Colt. I stood up and drove my hands into my pockets, "If you see that girl again I'd advise you treed carefully. The god she follows makes her stronger then any average Disciple, and even me." I said with my back to them as I made my toward the exit.

Arietta looks at Colt, eyebrows high, "When in the hell did those birds get there?" She states, getting relaxed again as the threat was leaving, "And I think I'm inclined to believe him, about the girl. She melted a bridge and started those forest fires- she probably could wipe the floor with us."

"Not necessarily." Colt said, raising his hand to get the attention of the waitress. "Think about it. We could cause just as much destruction if not more. Her temperament is what makes her dangerous." Colt took a sip of his drink. "I had met her in the forest when I was helping people. She had a seemingly innocent nature to her, but that seems like it was just a guise. See, we have an advantage. Since I have already met her, she thinks I believe she is some innocent lady. If we see her, don't act unnatural. As long as she thinks we don't know anything, we have an advantage." A waitress walked up to the table. " Do you have your order ready?" She asked. Colt looked at the menu before speaking. "Just a basic sandwich. I think number 4 is the closest you have to that." Colt looked up at Arietta, prompting her to order.

Arietta scans the menu, and frowns, "I'll have #13." She'd never ate Clampearl soup. Probably tasted like Shellder. After the waitress left Arietta let Theo back out of his pokeball. She pet the pokemon with a smile. "So you'd actually planned to kill other desciples?" She asks, surprised by her own forwardness on the issue, "Why didn't you just turn away the gift? I've heard of whispers from Yveltal about them. Remind me of the legends about changelings, what I hear about them. Yveltal doesn't like them, but he doesn't care if we go after them or not. Sure we earn favor if we kill them, but they always come back." Theo looks at her and blinks. The pokemon was adorable, and she wondered if one day she'd be able to use a megastone on it. It'd be an awesome sight.

"Because," Colt said, stretching his arms. "I may be determined but I'm not stupid. I can't fight disciples on my own without powers. It would be nearly impossible with the way I am." Colt reached down to pet Lucifer. He wasn't referring to his strength, but his personality. He had too much honor to be able to use the sneaky tactics that would be needed. "That is why I chose to go with a god in order to fight against them. You need great power yourself in order to fight great power." Colt paused for a second, reflecting on what he just said. He ran his hands through his hair in frustration, giving a nervous laugh. "Sometimes I think I am the most likely candidate to abuse this power and have someone else strike me down."

Arietta looked back up at him, brushing her dark brown hair from her face to tuck it behind her ear, which had hoops in them, she frowned, "You're a good person, Colt. I think that you'd only abuse your powers if someone threatened you or if you decided to dive off the deep end." Arietta picks up Theo and sets the small pokemon on the table, giving him some food from her pocket. He happily chowed down, and as she watched she took in the information, processing it. To take a god's power to just protect themselves? Well, it wouldn't be the worse cause to take up a god's offer, like Silas, or maybe that woman. "Maybe the gods really don't have any purpose for us. They just picked a smatter of interesting people- to them, atleast- and let them run amuck." She mumbles, and shrugs, "But you have powers if you're marked. You can regenerate, and you can change your gender and face. You're practically immortal."

"Master, you know if that kid wasn't burned he wouldn't have hesitated to strike you." A voice called from beside me after landing from the roof of the cafe. "Yea I know, I wouldn't approach them when I thought there was a slight disadvantage against me. Still without the burns I could have handled him, but that girl is who I'm worried about. If she starts to become too self aware she might start using her powers against me." I said to the blue and black pokemon walking with me now, the Chatot long gone and still gathering info. "Now were there any other unusual things in there?" I asked him looking around the streets as we walked the side walk across from the cafe, "No, master. Just an unmarked, but his aura told me nothing more, he seemed ancient though." Lucario said as I nodded, "Very good, keep a watchful eye out for that girl. She shouldn't be far." I said as the pokemon leaped to the walls of a building and repeated the hopping until he disappeared over one of the rooftops. As I walked my shadow began to move in front of me as my eyes began to glow a bright teal and my legs slowly sank into the shadow until my body itself was vanishing into the black silhouette. Moments later My entire body was gone and my shadow was darting away and down a dark alley where I could then move though the true darkness to a better area for what I needed to find.

Seamus Walker
The man shook his head as he listened to the discussion, interesting developments indeed. Entei and Darkrai... two of the more annoying deities in his opinion. He wasn't sure he liked the idea of this mystery woman and that Darkrai kid hanging out. He'd have to talk to them find out a bit more about the situation. "No need to rush," he said with a small smile. There was always another opportunity, even if you had to wait a lifetime or two to find it.
Seamus stood up, walking toward the remaining two disciples. He couldn't resist, particularly not after what the girl said. He stroked his bright red beard thoughtfully as he looked at her... Not bad... Then he shook his head, trying to remind himself to focus, "Mind if I join you?" He asked casually, not waiting for an answer from them as he pulled up a chair for himself, "Another of those coffee pastries of yours," he told the waitress who nodded before going on her way.
"Well, it's not all fun and games as you seem to think, Lass," he informed her, and leaned back, "Dying is rarely enjoyable.." he said quietly and sighed, "And as you pointed out, such a person isn't popular... so he'd be doing a lot of dying," he said softly and eyed the boy this time, "A lot," he said, doubting this boy would have what it took to get ahead under such a curse... Then he blinked, as if only realizing at this moment how sudden this seamed, "Oh, hello, by the way," he said with a soft smile, curious to how they would deal with such a stranger approaching them. Colt looked at this man who suddenly started talking to them. He seemed to be a pretty aged person, much more so if this person was what Colt thought he was. Colt took another sip of his drink just as the waitress came by and dropped off their food. "Thanks." Colt nodded at the waitress as he took the sandwich he had ordered and took a bite. Colt always preferred simple food, nothing too extravagant. Probably because he never eats extravagant food. "So, I assume you are marked?" Colt looked at this man with intrigue. "Why did you choose that path? I mean, simplified. No one has just one reason for any choice." Colt himself knew this for a fact. Though a driving force for him to choose a god was for defense, he also felt he could make a difference and protect those who couldn't. He wasn't going to say that if he wasn't asked, though. It would make him seem less 'cool'.

Arietta jumps at the sudden arrival of the man, but has to close her eyes at the feel of Yveltal hissing at him. She swallows and calms herself, before looking at the man again, giving him a friendly smile despite the hairs on the back of her neck standing. "Hi. I can tell you're one of them. Yveltal doesn't really like you." She thanks the waitress for the food and takes a small spoon of soup, "You seem pretty friendly. My name is Arietta, and I'm, as you probably guessed, a disciple of Yveltal."

Seamus looked at the two disciples and then gave the boy a curious look, "Hmm, two very cute disciples at once, I'm pretty lucky," he said with a small smile, and then shook his head, "My apologies... I was a woman until recently... by my standards, at least, and certain tastes just don't fade very easily," he said with a shrug. He knew they could tell he was older than... well, almost everything. There were certain mountains younger than Seamus, but no need to get into that. "And it isn't always a matter of choice... But I do have my reasons for not trying to make amends with them..." he said, and could almost see Giratina in the boy's eyes. "The story is far to long to tell right now, but let's just say, there was a little spat some few millennia ago, and leave it at that?" he offered. "Besides, it was so long ago..." He said dismissively.
He glared in the girl's direction, but he was not focused on her, "Quiet you, let the girl alone," he said, not sure if he felt the god himself, or if he just knew Yveltal well enough by now... that one more than almost any other of the Deities had issues with him, for obvious reasons.
"I'm called Seamus Walker, and it's a pleasure to meet you, Arietta," he said with a small smile. He didn't reach out to touch her, even though the gentleman in him wanted to kiss her hand. "I would offer to shake, but Yveltal has taken matters into her own... claws in the past," he said, "How long have you too been Pledged?" he asked, feeling like the Disciples were younger and younger nowadays.. although, he wasn't the best judge on that.
"I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of any of the poke-deities," he said with a shrug, "Well, Mew's okay... Hilarious," he said with a grin, "Unless you make him mad... Having the power to warp reality does not go well with a temper tantrum," he said shaking his head at the memory... So long ago...

Colt couldn't help but recoil at the mans remark on his looks. Colt could hardly hold a blush when a girl hit on him, let alone a man that looked well into his 40's, and being much older. That was just unexpected and awkward, creating a bright red mark on his cheeks. "Well then," Colt said, coughing into his hand in attempt to clear the awkwardness that covered him. "I prefer to keep a few things secret, if you wouldn't mind." Colt wasn't about to trust this man just yet. "You don't need to know much, and that's that." He was extra cautious because this man was apparently immortal. He didn't even wan't his name known. The less he knew the better in Colts opinion.
