Arietta smiled at the two of them, they were both funny. Colt was socially awkward, and the man was way past any form of social awkward-ness, he just didn't care. "I've been a disciple for about 8 months now. I know very little about the gods themselves, or about their disciples." She frowns, "Really hasn't helped me much, my lack of knowledge on the other disciples." Arietta shrugs. She was surprised that Yveltal quieted in her head when he told it to shut up, it showed his reputation that the god even listened.

Seamus looked at the other man, and his lips twitched, oh, he couldn't let this go by. "Ah, don't be such a tease," he said, reaching out one hand to lightly trace the back of the young man's hand, "You ask me such personal questions, but won't answer a simple question like mine?" he asked and shook his head, "So cute and yet so cruel," he said sadly. He had no real intention of hitting on the boy, but seeing him squirm was priceless.
He nodded to Yveltal, perhaps some of that friendship from so long ago was still alive after all? ... No, there was no point in thinking like that now. "Only eight months?" he asked and nodded, to him, that was almost literally a blink of an eye... not even worth mentioning, "How do you feel about it? Ever regret accepting that offer?" he asked, "Yveltal was always pretty demanding," he said, and paused... marked or not, if he kept talking like he knew the Deities personally, these kids would think he's insane... perhaps he was, but it would be simpler if they didn't know that.

"I'd prefer if you didn't do that!" Colt pulled his hand away as quick as he could. His blush grew in color and intensity. Colt grabbed his drink and finished it within seconds. He could tell this guy would definitely test his nerves. "I'll tell you my names Colt and that's it." Colt grabbed his sandwich and took a bite out of it, his blush still present. "And don't call me cute!"

Arietta coughs into her hand to hide a smile and a laugh, but when she doesn't stop smiling she just puts her hand down and starts laughing. She looks at Colt with a huge smile, "Your reaction to his advances aren't helping you, Colt. You're adorable."
When Seamus asks her abut if she regrets it, she pauses, a frown forming, "Yes. Yes I would choose differently. Yveltal itself isn't bad, at all. Usually it's a pleasant god. But, when I received the dream, I was grieving. My Father's last pokemon had passed away that day, bringing back memories of his death. My father died after his body rejected a replacement heart. The dream came and in my grief I chose the god of death. If I had the chance maybe I've chosen Suicune, since it was calling to me as well."

It took all of the ancient man's control to not laugh himself sick at the boy's reaction. It was just too perfect, "Aww, spoilsport," he teased. Then he looked at Arietta and he grinned softly, "He is, isn't he? At least you..." he began but then paused, as if realizing something, "Oh, wait... I'm sorry, are you two...?" he asked, as he looked at them with a little concern, "you know?" He asked, clasping his hands together as if to give his words further meaning. "So, how long have you two known each other?" he asked innocently, trying his best not to grin.
The Marked man nodded slowly, "'Ashes to Ashes, dust to dust...'" he quoted softly, "Death is a natural part of this world, perhaps the most natural thing... Or at least, that is how Yveltal seems to think," he said and sighed, "But I'm not sure I agree... well, I am a bit biased," he said with a smirk, as he nibbled at the pastry that he had ordered, "So good," he muttered before focusing on his eating companions, "Personally, I think Suicune would have been a better fit for you... Or..." he began and hesitated. He really wasn't sure how they would react to what he was about to say... the girl at least would listen, the boy... "Well, nevermind for now," he said, trying to bait their curiousity.

Colts entire face was now bright red. "No no no! you've got the wrong idea!" He was waving his hands frantically in front of him. "It's just... we're... I'm... she's..." Colt was trying to form a cohesive sentence but he was too embarrassed to say anything straight. Colt stood up quickly from his seat, bumping the table. "I'm going to the bathroom." Colt walked as fast as he could towards the bathroom.
Colt opened the bathroom door and turned on the nearest sink, cupping water in his hands and splashing his face. A lot of people always said that he was very mature for his age, and that he seemed a lot like a young adult. However, he was never very good at dealing with awkward situations very well. "Smooth one, Colt." He said to the figure looking back at him from the mirror. He had calmed down from the incident from before, but he splashed his face a few more times for good measure. 'That guy sure is something.' Colt thought to himself. The man obviously liked to mess with him, but there was more to him than that. He was marked, meaning he was practically immortal. You can learn a lot being around for that long. From what he heard, Colt could tell this man had ambitions. The way he talked and the questions he asked gave Colt the feeling that he had some grand scheme. It could all be his imagination, of course, but Colt didn't trust this guy. He leaned forward on the sink. "I think I'll rest here a bit." Colt wanted to make sure that he was completely calm before going back to the table.

Arietta wasn't phased by the question at all- indeed, it made her feel like she was at home. Everytime she brought a friend over she'd ask these questions(when she was home, that is.) She laughed quietly as Colt fled to the bathroom as a reprieve. Theo stared after the man snickering in a dog-like fashion that made the animal seem like an evil villain's pet. "Colt and I have only known one another for a day and a half. We're not together, no, but I asked him to train me. I'm still getting to know him, and him me." Her smile was big, and eyes full of mirth, "But you were about to say something?" She was honestly curious.

Seamus chuckled quietly as Colt fled, "Oh my, do you think I said something wrong?" he asked innocently. He grinned at Arietta, and shook his head. He honestly hadn't expected for the young man to run. It was rather adorable, if Seamus said so himself. He was a little disappointed that Arietta had handled it so well, Well, he was sure he could get a blush out of her with enough time.
He paused a moment, trying to think of how best to phrase this... This was something that could very easily drive away what he hoped could be a new Ally... But he would not lie to her. He did not want to mislead her into thinking he was a 'good' guy... he was quite possibly the worst person on the planet. What he had planned was not something that a girl like this should get involved with lightly.
He blinked suddenly, realizing he had been thinking for several minutes, "I apologise, you tend to get ... desensitized to time when you've been around for too long... it becomes a necessity after the first century or two," he told her, hoping he hadn't bored her with his silence. "Now, for what I was saying... do you think the disciples are necessary? ... Them... and the gods they worship?" he asked, watching her carefully, still treading carefully for the moment, curious to see what the woman thought on this. He had overheard a little of that earlier, but he was curious to see if she had more to say on the subject.

Arietta digested this for a moment, and nodded slowly, expression neutral with a hint of confusion, "I don't see a point in having disciples, they don't really even put any effort into who they call out for. Before I became a disciple, I didn't even know we existed. I didn't even know there was gods, really. Most of the gods were just legends, and the ones that existed were captured by powerful trainers and released afterwards." She pets Theo again, "Why bother even picking us? Is it for entertainment? I'm confused by it."

Colt looked at himself in the mirror. "Okay Colt, you should be fine now." He was fairly confident that his nerves were completely settled, and if that man started asking similar questions he wouldn't be as bothered by them. Of course, he would probably find the situation awkward, but the main reason it was so awkward was because it was so unexpected. Colt walked out of the bathroom and sat back down at the table. He could sense a heavy question had been dropped by the look on Ariettas face. It was almost completely neutral. 'Best to just stay quiet for the moment.' He thought to himself.

Seamus sighed, these weren't easy questions she was asking, "It differs from one to the other... Celebi for example doesn't ask for people to follow it, rather if it finds someone that already caring for and protecting the forest, and grants them power," he said, and shrugged, "There are some like Darkrai who don't give people a choice in how they act," he said. He wondered if perhaps the child from before was always such a... what was it the kids said nowadays? Douchebag? ... anything was possible.
"The gods all have their own goals and desires, and they genuinely believe they are for the good of the world and the people and pokemon that live here... From Jirachi all the way on to Genesect, they all believe they have the right path. Unfortunately they don't care about anyone that may get in their way... and when a god decides to get rid of an obstacle, there can't help but be a lot of collateral damage," he told her, knowing there were a lot of myths and legends of various disasters that she could think of that would almost definitely be a good example of what he meant.
"So, they use disciples... Less power, less chance of destroying a planet," he said and sighed, "But they give these people and pokemon power, but so little direction. Mortals... tend to get carried away even more easily then their masters," he said and sighed, "The system is flawed, I think you can see that..." he said softly, wondering how she would react to such a statement. He has said this a lot in his various lives, but he seemed to get a different reaction almost every time.

Arietta slowly nods, "Yes, I can see that, now. That woman and maybe that boy, Silas. I felt it in myself when I was trapped in a nightmare Silas put me in- the feeling of getting ahead of myself. It's dangerous." She purses her lips, but shrugs. There was nothing she could do about it, in her mind at least. Arietta takes another bite of her soup and nods to Colt, welcoming him back, "I can only hope the god of death knows who it picks, because we could destroy a lot of things. Colt here disintegrated a whole tree. Give it to the wrong people and.." She trails off.

Colt took another bite of his sandwich. "I don't think anyone should have this power, no matter their intentions." He looked at his sandwich, which there was only an 8th of it left. 'must've eaten faster than I thought.' Colt dropped his sandwich by Lucifer who was patiently lying on the ground. Lucifer happily gulped the rest of the sandwich. "People should just let things be, and not mess with these powers. Strength should only be obtained naturally." Colt looked at the man. "Like you said, people tend to get carried away when given unnatural power."

Seamus nodded, "I agree with you both," he said, nodding to Colt lightly, "But as for... Them," he said, meaning the Deity pokemon, "They will not change the way things are done, no matter what..." he said, and then paused. "I have lost so many people that I care about in my lifetime just because of the whims of the gods," he said a hard edge in his voice as he spoke. "Whole countries wiped out, just because they follow their instincts," he snapped, and the memories came back now, and with them the anger.
The red haired man sighed and took a deep breath trying to calm himself down, "And that will keep happening, over and over again, and I can only think of one way to change it... Get rid of the gods," he said. He watched them carefully, those five little worlds had cost Seamus his life on more than one occasion. He was rather fond of this body though, and would prefer not to lose it. At least not for a little while. He was on guard, ready to react to anything the two disciples may try.

Arietta's eyebrows go up, and she blinks, "Get... Rid of the gods?" She mumbles, thinking about it. Would nature go out of balance? Would people just keel over? She never thought about what would happen if a god died. "Well, it's not like they do anything anyway- they use the disciples to maintain balance for them. If they're as destructive as you say- which I believe they are- it'd be a viable action. But what about the disciples? What about balance? You'd need to test on a minor god before you went to something huge, otherwise you'd just cause a lot of harm if it did have a recoil action." She states, thinking through it, "How does one even kill a god?"

He knew it. Colt knew that this man had some crazy scheme planned, and he wanted no part in it. "You can't simply kill a minor god to test it. don't you think the other gods would get an idea of what's going on, if they don't already know? The only safe way of doing it would be to wipe them all out at once, and that contains too many risks." Colt raises his hand to get the attention of the waitress. " bring over the bill, please." He didn't intend to stay very much longer. The waitress came over and dropped off the bill, then left. "Besides, who are we to mess with the natural order of the world? things have been going on like this for a VERY long time, so why take the risk of tearing it all down?"

Seamus nodded to Colt, "The boy is right... it would have to be all of them at once, or it wouldn't work... for one thing, Ho-oh," he said, naming Yveltal's rival, "Can simply revive a god if something happened to one of them, and there are a variety of reasons that going after him first wouldn't work... and if we failed, there would be a lot of that collateral damage I mentioned before" he said with a shrug... "What we really need is a state where the gods simply can't exist," he told them, and then nodded to Colt, more than understanding why he would want to leave. "The how on that is really rather complicated... I'll explain later if you really want to know," he said to Arietta, a bit intrigued that she seemed so interested in all of this.
"The... Natural order..." Seamus said slowly, "So, you believe disintegrating a tree on a whim is 'natural'?" he asked, knowing it wasn't a fair question, but he still wanted to make the point. "I don't think that the gods are necessary... although, as you've said, I have no proof of this... but I think the processes that have set in motion such as the seasons, plants growing and giving oxygen, and even living and dying will keep on, even without anyone meddling," he said and paused, "I think the world will be just fine without the meddling... perhaps not better, but I don't think it would be any worse either..." he said softly, "Perhaps that's selfish, but I don't know about having such immature gods bossing us around..." he said, making his case as best as he could in this moment

Arietta shrugs, she'd never considered any of this. She wondered that, if you killed a god, if they would get reborn. How did the gods even get there? She leaned back, feeling a sudden gust of tired. "I honestly don't know what to think. But it might not be for the best to kill them if one don't know the repercussions of killing one. There's so much someone could risk." Arietta finishes her soup and lets the waitress take it. The poor woman must think they're crazy.

Colt took the money required for the meal and picked up the bill. "I agree Arietta, it'd best not to mess with the gods. Now, if you are ready to go let's get going." Colt placed the money on the front counter and walked over to the door. He turned to the man. "Well, thanks for the talk, but we should get going." Lucifer walked up beside Colt, who now was turned towards Arietta. "When you're ready to go, let's go." Colt didn't want to spend any more time talking to this crazy man about his scheme to overthrow the gods. He could tell the man wanted their help, and he didn't want to give him a chance to convince Arietta.

Lucario's ears twitched as he listened to the conversation, his blue fur rippling from the slight breeze. His eyes were closed, the appendages hanging off the back of his head lifted and rattling slightly as he watched and read the auras of the occupants of the cafe. He was had stayed to make sure the two weren't lying about not knowing the exact location of the Entai follower, but instead learned of something much more interesting. he remained in a place hidden by normal means and unless knowing that the Lucario was there the entire time, he would not be found.

Seamus sighed and nodded to the two children, "Yes, of course... It is not something that you should take on lightly," he agreed with them both on that much. "However, ... every so often, the balance will shift and one god or the other will gain an advantage, and ... Many people have died," he said, looking at the two brunettes as they prepared to leave, "More people than anyone could possibly keep track of..." he said, scratching his chin, "Wars, earthquakes, whole countries being trapped in an eternal nightmare... No matter how long I live, I can not understand why it has to be this way," he said.
Then he moved to his feet, adjusting his suit as he nodded to him, "Well, it's your choice, but if you change your mind, or just want to talk," he said, pulling a small business card from his inside jacket pocket, with his name, Seamus Walker, written in fairly delicate script printed on it. "Give me a call, I'd love to hear from you," he said, bowing slightly, before giving Arietta a flirty grin, "Especially you," he said playfully, before waving to them one more time, walking out of the café, heading to the roof of a nearby building, already a helicopter descended ready to pick him up.

Arietta stare open mouthed at the man, holding his card, as she walks over to Colt. "He has a helicopter, Colt. A freaking helicopter. Well, I guess after living that long, you would have a lot of money." She looks at Colt, tucking the card in her back pocket, "But it's a freaking helicopter." Theo was hiding behind her leg, having never seen one of these objects before. He was terrified.

Colt couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Ariettas reaction to the helicopter. 'Great, not only is he crazy, but he has money, too' Colt thought. He knew that since this man had a lot of money that he probably had a way of actually obtaining his crazy goals. It also meant that Arietta and himself probably weren't the first people he attempted to convince. Colt turned towards Arietta. "Well, it's best to just forget about him." he looked out at Mauville. "Since we're in Mauville, if there is anything you want to do, let me know." Colt looked at his watch. "It's 1:00 now. At 4 we're heading over to the gym. Time you had a worthy battle."

Arietta's attention snaps up to Colt, her eyes going wide, "Wait what? I've only battled like twice!" She didn't know crap about battling, "I don't think I can beat a gym of all things!" She looked at Theo, who looked back at her. She returned the pokemon to her ball, "What type of gym is it?"

"Electric type. None of the pokemon you have have an advantage against him, but he doesn't have an advantage over you, either." Colt looked at Arietta who seemed very frightened of the notion of fighting a gym. "Don't worry about it. The best way to become better is through practice. Besides, the gym leaders will use different pokemon depending on how experienced you are. Since you are new, he'll go easy on you." Colt smirked. "Doesn't mean you'll win though. In fact, I'm expecting you to loose. You'll learn a lot by battling a gym leader by watching how they fight. And if you're pokemon are just plain not strong enough we'll go train a bit." Colt turned his head back out to town. "That's a few hours from now, though. Just relax and have fun for now."

Arietta bites her lip and nods, "Okay." She lets out Jeeves, who stares at her, "I think I want to train Jeeves though. He needs to get more oriented with battling and pokemon in general. Jeeves has a phobia of other pokemon, and Scim and Moraya battled all the time with eachother back home, so they'll be slightly more prepared." She looks at Colt, "Jeeves being defeated would only make him more afraid, so lets condition him a bit."

Seamus Walker
The Marked man sighed as he took a seat in his helicopter, looking down to see the two Disciples talking in the street below as the craft took flight. He wondered if he would be able to recruit them, or if he would have to... No, he wouldn't worry about that for now. Just give it time, after all, that was the most powerful weapon he had at his disposal. "Sir, where would you like to go?" the pilot asked, and Seamus smiled at her, nodding softly, "Verdanturf... I need somewhere quiet to relax for a while," he said and leaned back in his chair. A violin solo began playing from the speakers, an old one. He smiled softly, thinking back about the lover who had wrote that song for him... her at the time, of course... still it was a good memory. Seamus had a tendancy to get lost in his memories, after all, he had so very many of them.

Mami Saito
"Shroom, shroom, shrroooooomish," Bob complained at Mami, but the small girl ignored him, "Don't talk like that, Bob," she said, although she couldn't actually understand the pokemon, she could guess what he was saying with Fair accuracy, "You've had plenty to eat, and I'm not going to let you make yourself sick again," the girl said, shaking her head rapidly, "shshshshsrooom," the plant type said getting a little dizzy from being shaken like that, "Yes you will," she said firmly, "You always d-" she began, but never finished, suddenly tripping on a loose piece of sidewalk. She fell flat on her face, sending Bob flying off her head. The Shroomish rolled for quite a ways, not for the first time wondering if it was worth riding on this girl's head.
He suddenly blinked, hey he knew that girl,"Shroom, shroom shroom!" he yelled, trying to get Arietta's attention, at least, he was pretty sure that that was who it was... had no clue who the dude was though... oh well, he'd figure it out later.

"Well, if you want to train we can head up to route 111 to train a bit. There is a constant sandstorm, though, so we would need to pick up some goggles at the store." As Colt looked out into town he saw a small girl stumble and fall, sending the pokemon riding on her head rolling. "Hey," Colt turned towards Arietta, pointing towards the girl. "didn't you say to look out for a girl with a shroomish?"

Arietta looks at the shroomish and smiles, "Hey!" She looks up to Mami, and runs over to her, "I'm glad you're here!" Arietta helps her up, "I take it you want to travel with us then?" Her smile was huge. She was glad to have a new friend. -- Elaine stopped before she entered the small town, and slid off her unusually large arcanine, petting it's mane. "I'm sorry, dear, but they might be looking for a girl with an arcanine." She coos, hugging the pokemon, "I'll let you back out in a little while." Elaine returns Leviathan to it's ball, and lets out Asmodeus, her ninetails, before she enters the town. Asmodeus walks close to her, looking fabulous, as Elaine observes the town. This town would be safe for now, she didn't want anyone to get to suspicious. Also, she was hungry. Maybe she could charm a man into buying her something.

Mami Saito
Mami smiled up at the other girl, blushing a bit to actually be seen like that, still Arietta had seen Mami in worse situations, well one. But still. "Y-Yeah... if you don't mind, I mean," she said, really hoping that they didn't. Mami peaked around Arietta's shoulder, and then gulped as she saw Colt, "Um... is he your friend that you mentioned before?" Mami asked, feeling a little shy around a stranger like this. She waved to the boy, not sure what else to do here.

Seamus Walker
Seamus sighed, deep in thought. The violin music had sent him back over his many past lovers, a very bittersweet subject for him. He had of course had a great many. This was not ego or bragging. It was just how things were... even so, he remembered each and every one of them. Losing them while he had no choice but to move on... it was a big part of what made being a Marked such a curse.
One woman in particular stood out, perhaps his most recent love... an image of blonde hair and red-brown eyes filled his mind... "Sir!" Seamus jumped, taken a bit by surprise by the Pilot's voice. "We're about to land in Verdanturf, Sir," she said, nodding to him as she took the bird down skillfully. Seamus side, well that had been a nice dream, but it was in the past, so no used worrying about it too much. He stepped out of the helicopter and began walking away, for now, Tea.
